The place to be on July 13th and 14th 2024 is Carnival of Stars. This 19th annual Fantasy Convention is fun for both adults and children. It combines dance performances, a cosplay contest, and one-of-a-kind vendors with treasures from around the world.

​

On Saturday, the hours are from 12:00 to 7:00 pm, on Sunday from 12:00 to 7:00 pm at the Hayward Veterans Memorial Building. There is both on-street parking, and parking lots are close by.

 

Tickets are: $20 adults, $10 for children under 6. CASH ONLY.

 

​

​The Stage in the auditorium has dance soloists & troupe performances, providing continuous entertainment on both days. There is also a COS drinks & snacks bar.

 

On Sunday afternoon, the stage has a Cosplay costume contest with Sci Fi, historical and fantasy characters all competing for wonderful prizes and trophies. The contest rules are on the Costume Contest Registration form.

 

On Sunday evening (5-7pm), there is a Gala Showcase with live music by Pangia.
